Grandma Upgrades to 64k

64K as in American dollars, not 64k of memory. Remember the story about the little old lady from Fresno that found the 1869 Peck and Snyder Cincinnati Red Stockings card and then put it up for auction through Memory Lane? Well, the auction ended and the card sold for $75,000, which nets here over $64,000 after the auction fees. The winning bidder was someone well know in card collecting circles, Jeffrey Rosenberg who owns TriStar (the company that puts on the big card shows). The last 1869 Peck and Snyder Reds card sold through Memory Lane only went for $30,000. Just shows you what some publicity can do for you! Check out the full story courtesy of Yahoo sports:
